ROBYN'S SUGGESTED ACTIONS
For Protecting Our Essential Rights and Freedoms:
1) In California – Financially support the outstanding California legislative work of Private and Home Educators of CA, a program of Family Protection Ministries. FPM (Roy Hanson and staff) is the only full-time organization, working in the state capitol, monitoring and advocating in all legislative and administrative actions which directly affect California private home educators.
2) Become Members of Home School Legal Defense Association; Take Action on Their Alerts!
3) Get Involved with PARENTALRIGHTS.ORG! - www.ParentalRights.org
Pass the Parental Rights Amendment! Fight With Us to Protect Parental Rights from the increasing threat of International Law, Judicial Activism, and Out of Control Legislators!
Oppose the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child!
If ratified, the UN-CRC would radically alter the flow of power in the United States, taking away the authority of parents to decide matters pertaining to the lives of their children, and giving that power away to the United Nations. An 18-member international panel would decide what is “best” for American children.

This is a manual the entire family will want to use to learn the internal workings of the political process and how, as free people, we can train the next generation to not only love freedom, but be equipped to exercise the awesome power we possess to effect change in the political arena. This is not book work. This is a "Go do it" instruction manual from Jessica Hulcy, a lady who has had an incredible impact for good in the political arena in her local area. This is fun stuff!! (Suggested for 3rd grade and above)."

Interspersed throughout the lectures is a mock Presidential campaign. In this simulation, participants learn the nuts and bolts of campaigning and what it takes to be elected. Past activities have included horse back riding, hiking, miniature golf, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, GenJ Olympics, and the GenJ Virtual Congress, to name a few.
LINK DISCLAIMER – Parental Responsibility...
It is generally wise to either preview election-related sites before your child or teen looks at them, or to look at them together. Some sites are clearly from a conservative or conservative Christian worldview (i.e. Generation Joshua, Wallbuilders), some are pretty neutral (i.e. Ben's Guide), and others can be more liberal in obvious or subtle ways (i.e. PBS Democracy Project). Especially be vigilant when looking at a secular site which is "helping" the students to "understand issues."
